The Advantage of Dual-action Design: In a dual-action (two-stage) airbrush, pressing the trigger down releases the air, and pulling the trigger backward draws out the paint, allowing you to freely control the amount of paint output. In a single-action airbrush, the trigger is pressed down to spray air and paint simultaneously, with the amount of paint unable to be precisely controlled.
